Deception
Deception was a self-initiated take on designing a typeface. This conceptual typeface showcased the reality that pills were a temporary fix, not a permanent solution. They masked the root of the problem and created an illusion of how one was doing.
The alphabet consists of solid, smashed, and powdered forms to display the various stages of deception. Robust pills represent the mask, how one appears to be, put together. The crushed pills illustrate the breakdown, and the powdered pills signify complete destruction.
At this purest and lowest state in powdered form, there is a sense of hope and light displayed through the sheer white powder. Ultimately, this facade of how one needs to appear in society is exactly like the color coating on these formerly white pills.
